1. Purpose & Definitions
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your use of Stats (the “Services”) operated by STA (the “Company”, “we”). By creating an account or otherwise using the Services you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Definitions
- Services — the Stats AI survey builder at stats.sta-suite.com and the public response pages at
/s/[slug]. - Member / you — any person who has agreed to these Terms and uses the Services.
- Workspace — a Member’s personal or team space holding their surveys and responses.
- Respondent — a person who answers a published survey link without signing up. Respondents are not bound by the Member terms; their relationship is governed by Section 4.
- Premium / paid plan — any service offered for a fee (Pro, Team, etc.).
- Content — any data a Member or Respondent uploads, stores, or transmits through the Services (questions, answers, attachments, etc.).
2. The Services
Stats is an AI survey SaaS offering:
- AI survey generation, a template gallery, and a drag-and-drop builder
- Korean B2B–specific question types — business-number validation, industry classification, regional answers
- Response collection, automatic charts, AI insights, and a response quality score
- Integrations with Webhook, Google Sheets, Slack, and STA (memo, mail, and calendar tabs) — Owner-controlled
- Plan-based limits on responses, AI calls, and export
We offer free and paid (Pro, Team) plans; their features are published on the /billing page. The Company may offer features in “beta” status; beta features are provided without availability or stability guarantees.
3. Account
3.1 Registration
You may register by accepting these Terms and our Privacy Policy and completing the form provided. Children under 14 require verified consent from a legal guardian.
3.2 Account security
- You are responsible for safeguarding your account and password.
- You may not transfer, lend, or share your account with anyone else.
- You must notify us immediately if you discover unauthorized use.
3.3 Refusal and termination by the Company
We may refuse registration or terminate an account for (i) false information, (ii) violation of these Terms or applicable law, or (iii) fraudulent intent.
3.4 Account deletion
You may delete your account at any time from the Account menu in the dashboard. Workspace, surveys, and responses are deleted immediately; records retained by law are kept for the periods set in the Privacy Policy.
4. Respondents
Respondents submit answers to a published survey link without signing up. The following terms apply.
- By submitting a response, the Respondent agrees to this Section 4 and to our Privacy Policy.
- Response content belongs to the Member (Workspace Owner); the Company acts as a processor and stores / transmits the data securely.
- Respondents have the right to access, correct, and delete their response data — by contacting the Owner who runs the survey, or by emailing
privacy@sta-suite.com. - PII supplied by the Respondent (email, phone, business number, etc.) is stored in a separately encrypted store with access controls.
- We hash Respondent IPs and use them only to deduplicate responses and prevent abuse.

5. Fees & Billing
5.1 Fees
Paid plans and their prices are published on /billing. We may change prices with advance notice.
5.2 Payment methods
- Korean cards / bank transfer — processed by TossPayments
- International cards — processed by Stripe
5.3 Subscriptions and auto-renewal
Monthly subscriptions renew automatically. You can cancel renewal before the next billing cycle from the Billing menu in the dashboard.
5.4 Team / seats
The workspace administrator manages the number of seats. Adding seats is prorated and charged immediately; removing seats takes effect from the following billing cycle.
6. Refunds & Withdrawal
6.1 Web payments — statutory withdrawal
Under Article 17 of the Korean Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, Members may request withdrawal within 7 days of payment. Because the Services are digital content, withdrawal is limited where:
- You have already used the paid service after being clearly informed of and consenting to the loss of the withdrawal right, or
- More than 7 days have passed since payment.

6.2 Refund due to Company fault
If we fail to provide the Services as agreed for reasons attributable to us, we will refund the unused portion on a prorated basis.
7. Prohibited Conduct
Members and Respondents agree not to:
- Post or transmit content that violates law, public order, or morality.
- Misappropriate or unlawfully collect another person’s personal information.
- Manipulate survey responses — automated bot responses, multi-IP / multi-account responses, fraudulent claim of incentives.
- Interfere with the stable operation of the Services (crawling, DoS, API abuse, etc.).
- Reverse engineer, decompile, circumvent security, or build unofficial clients.
- Reproduce or resell the Services in whole or in part without authorization.
- Infringe the intellectual property, reputation, or credit of the Company or any third party.
Violations may result in content / response removal, suspension of service, account termination, and legal action.
8. Content & Intellectual Property
8.1 Your content
You retain ownership of all rights in the Content you upload (questions, themes, logos, response data). You grant the Company a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to store, reproduce, transmit, and display the Content solely as necessary to operate, provide, and improve the Services.
8.2 Our content
The Services and all related interfaces, designs, logos, software, and templates are owned by the Company or its licensors. You may not copy, distribute, or modify any of it without our prior written consent.
8.3 AI inputs and outputs
Data submitted to AI features (auto-generation, option suggestion, insights, multilingual translation, etc.) may be transmitted to third-party models such as Google Gemini in order to produce a response. AI outputs may be inaccurate; you remain responsible for whether and how to use them.
9. Service Changes & Suspension
We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services for operational or technical reasons. We will give advance notice of scheduled maintenance; emergency maintenance and incidents may be communicated after the fact. If we permanently discontinue the Services, we will provide at least 30 days’ notice by email and on the web, and refund paid Members the unused portion of their subscription.
10. Limitation of Liability
- We are not liable for outages or data loss caused by force majeure (natural disasters, war, power outages, network failures, third-party cloud incidents, etc.).
- We are not responsible for the reliability, accuracy, or legality of Content created by Members.
- We are not responsible for the truthfulness or accuracy of Content submitted by Respondents directly to Members.
- For free services, our liability is excluded except in cases of intent or gross negligence.
- For paid services, our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the preceding 12 months, except where mandatory consumer-protection law imposes a higher limit.
- We are not liable for indirect, special, or consequential damages (lost profits, lost data, etc.).
11. Disputes & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Disputes between you and the Company will be subject to the competent court under the Korean Civil Procedure Act, with Seoul Central District Court as the exclusive court of jurisdiction of first instance.
Consumers may also seek mediation through the Korea Consumer Agency or the Electronic Commerce Dispute Mediation Committee. Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory rights you have as a consumer.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may amend these Terms in accordance with applicable law. Material changes or changes that are disadvantageous to Members will be notified at least 30 days before the effective date by email and on the web. If you do not object before the effective date, you are deemed to have agreed to the revised Terms.
